Stacey Jones, along with John Crawford and David Murphy, is a founding partner of Crawford Architects. Originally with John Crawford, he formed Crawford Partners in 1992 and brings a wealth of professional practice experience to the Crawford Architects’ team. Stacey has a broad association with sports and entertainment projects.
Following graduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania with David Murphy, the two have successfully collaborated on urban design and architectural projects around the world for over two decades.
Stacey plays an integral role in master planning projects as well as their sports and recreation work. Notable highlights include the waterfront redevelopments in Branson, Missouri (USA), Darwin Cove, Darwin (NT, Australia) and The Landing at Gosford (NSW, Australia). His collegiate sports work includes the George A. Weiss Pavilion at the University of Pennsylvania, the Palestra and Hutchinson Gym renovation at the University of Pennsylvania, and the renovation of Memorial Field in State College, Pennsylvania.
Nickname: Staccio (once he was mistaken for a Prada fashionista)
Stacey is a Rotary International Scholar and a Fulbright Awardee. His passions are surfing, meat pies and sausage rolls, which couple nicely with his OCD-like need for exercise and dieting.
