Design and build a 5-star energy rated building that encompasses all the latest technology for energy efficient construction and operation.
Solution: This exciting project heralds a shift in the focus of contemporary office design soundly focused on environmentally sustainable design (ESD). It features passive environmental control, a rainwater farm, solar arrays and winter gardens. This project is specifically flexible enough to accommodate a strata subdivision.
Quick Facts: Four story, concrete framed building with 2 levels of underground car parking.
Closing Arguments: Unfortunately never built due to the new technology of the time being too expensive. Today this building would be feasible and welcomed. |
