Situation: Lend Lease Development engaged Crawford to explore options for a residential subdivision for their client, St Patrick’s Estate on the Manly Peninsula. Manly is a classic coastal Sydney suburb with breathtaking topography. Our work comprised extensive site analysis, devising prototypical residential dwelling solutions, as well as aiding in the building of consensus within the wider community for the project.
Solution: The project consists of a subdivision of two adjacent properties parceled into 26 residential plots. Each lot size is approximately 645 sqm., and the total site area is 1.6 ha.
Quick Facts: Residential redevelopment of an otherwise underutilized coastal property has the potential to release funds for the owner to direct toward the conservation of the residual historic buildings and land.
