Client: Western Suburbs Leagues Club
Location: Ashfield, New South Wales, Australia
Situation: The Western Suburbs Leagues Club (Wests), contemplating the purchase of an inner western Sydney tract of land, commissioned us to study the master planning of the site for its future development potential. Wests is a full-service recreation club offering gaming, lounges, bars, restaurants and function room facilities
Solution: We planned their facilities for the tight urban site but were also able to master plan the development of accompanying serviced apartments that are a natural compliment to licensed recreation clubs where many of the service areas and some of the public facilities can be shared, resulting in capital expenditure and operational savings.
Quick Facts: Our scheme includes 160 serviced apartments over 10 floors.
Closing Arguments: Licensed recreational clubs are looking for complimentary commercial uses to increase their membership base and improve their revenue streams. |
