Client: First and Goal, Inc
Location: Qwest Field, Home of the Seattle Seahawks
Situation: The current demand for Seahawks game tickets is unprecedented. In addition Qwest Field’s suites are sold out and there is a long waiting list of anxious fans clamoring for suite ownership. In order to keep demand high and customers satisfied Seahawks Executives challenged Crawford Architects to design a new suite configuration that provides further variety within the stadium and pushes the envelope within the League by creating a new and unique suite experience.
Solution: Crawford took advantage of existing, undeveloped concourse space set on the formerly open-air club level terraces to insert five new suites. Four of the suites are located on the Stadium’s west side, and another larger 80 person suite, the Cadillac Reserve Club, is located on the Stadium’s east side. All five suites offer outdoor seating with a unique viewpoint to the field from the end zone corners. Glass garage doors behind the seats can either be fully open to the lounge area beyond or closed during inclement weather, providing the suite holder the option of seeking refuge indoors. In addition to the new suites Crawford added two new club access corridors, effectively tying the terrace suites to existing club level, both physically and relative to finish. The addition of the Terrace Suites and Cadillac Reserve Club now allow Qwest Field to offer patrons a variety of unique suite options to meet their needs when taking in a game or concert.
Quick Facts: With construction wrapped up this project came in on-time and under budget. All five suites sold out before completion of construction.
Closing Arguments: Like the idea of a suite but want to be closer to the action? Want a bit more privacy in your suite for entertaining? We can accommodate you. Crawford Architects has provided Qwest Field with the most flexible and comprehensive suite package in the NFL. Short of strapping on the pads, we have given the Seahawks salespeople the ability to offer their clients luxury virtually everywhere in the stadium without compromising the overall feel and intimacy of the seating bowl. |
